As the UN implied the no-fly zone over Libya, Gadhafi criticized Benghazi people as traitors, as the rebel seeking for help from other countries. U.S Ambassador, Susan Rice, commented about United States’ position regarding no-fly zone in Libya: “The United States stands with the Libyan people in support of their universal rights.”
The U.N resolution condemns “gross and systematic violation of human rights, including arbitrary detentions, enforced disappearances, torture and summary executions.” The enforcement includes an arms embargo against Libya and also to freeze some certain assets. Hillary Clinton who’s act as US Secretary of State saying that the United States would not act without the resolution.
