The world news report on Libya: Libyan government claimed 48 civilians were killed by the airstrikes

As Muammar Gadhafi defied U.N Security Council calls to end the attack on opposition forces, Western has activated their military forces to push Muammar Gadhafi’s troops to cease fire and end attacks on civilians.

However, according to U.S officials their military action is not merely targeting the leader. He insisted that the bombing wasn't going beyond mandates in the United Nations Security Council resolution.

There are 48 people killed, including women, children and clerics in those allied attacks, the Libyan government claimed. However, according to a member of Libyan opposition, those bodies of people killed were collected by Gadhafi government from fighting in the past week. They displayed those bodies just to show they were killed by coalition airstrikes.
